Event Schedule
The Pre-Party officially begins as soon as the previous event ends. At that time, a new cover graphic will be uploaded to the group. Once it's live, you may start inviting guests using the invite link only (please note: do not use the invite button). This calendar starts on the Tuesday of the week when sales begin and continues through the end of the event. Feel free to refer to it daily—it outlines exactly what you should be doing each day during our SPOTLIGHT event.

This is the post shoppers will return to after all 14 vendors have shared on their SPOTLIGHT days—so make it count!
When creating your intro post, be sure to include:
✅ What you sell and how to buy from you (a single link is fine)
✅ Your special offer (Note: Every vendor will offer at least one engagement-based giveaway—meaning guests can enter without making a purchase)
✅ Your SPOTLIGHT Sales Day (the day you'll be posting your main content)
✅ A clear photo of yourself (people buy from those they trust—your photo helps build that connection quickly)
✅ A fun engagement question to get guests talking (conversation = visibility!)
✨ Engagement is the key to our success—let’s make it happen! ✨
📅 Each SPOTLIGHT event is designed to give you focused attention and real-time engagement with shoppers. Here’s how your sales day is structured:
✨ You’ll Share the Day with Just One Other Vendor This setup gives you high visibility without overwhelming shoppers. You’ll each take the spotlight and support each other throughout the day.
🖼️ Post Up to 15 Times You can schedule or post up to 15 times on your assigned sales day. Use your posts to: Showcase your products or services Ask engagement-style questions Share behind-the-scenes peeks or stories Create curiosity and excitement
🎥 Optional Live Session You’re encouraged to go live once during your day. Lives: Help build connection and trust Can boost visibility in the group Should be 20–40 minutes max (📌 Keeping it closer to 20 minutes is ideal—shorter lives perform better with the Facebook algorithm!)
🤝 Stay Active & Supportive Comment on each other’s posts, reply to shopper questions, and bring your energy. The more engaged you are, the more results you'll see.
Please see the Event Schedule for an overview of the entire event.
Woohoo—someone just bought from you! 🙌 Here’s exactly what to do next to keep things smooth, professional, and community-friendly:
✅ You Handle the Transaction All sales are completed directly through you (your website, PayPal, Venmo, Square, Facebook invoicing, etc.). SPOTLIGHT does not collect payments or take a percentage.
📦 You Fulfill the Order Once payment is received: Confirm the order with your customer. Package and ship it promptly. Provide tracking if available. For local pickup, clearly communicate the details.
🗂️ Update the Event Sales Tracker Head to the group chat and locate the Sales Tracker Form (pinned message at the top).
✅ Add your sale to the tracker so we can celebrate your success and track event totals!
🗣️ Celebrate in the Event Group! Post a thank-you or shout-out in the event group—it builds excitement and social proof! You can post sale thank-yous on any day of the event, even if it’s not your spotlight day.
📌 Example post: “Thank you so much for your order, Sarah! I appreciate the support!” Make sure to TAG your customer in the thank you!
🤝 Be Responsive & Kind Great customer service = repeat business. Follow up, respond to messages, and let your customer know they’re valued. Time for those DM's!
📊 Track It for Yourself Too Keep a simple sales log for your own records—customer name, item(s), payment type, delivery status and event that you were in when sale was made.

🎁 Each vendor is required to offer one giveaway during the event. Here's how to make it simple and fun:
Choose what to give: It can be a product, discount code, gift card, or something creative that aligns with your brand.
You decide how to enter: Commenting on a post, answering a question, tagging a friend—make it easy and fun! (Just NOT sales based...must be based on engagement.)
Post your giveaway during your sales day and clearly state how and when you’ll choose a winner (Sunday after all sales have happened).
Announce your winner at the end of the event and contact your winner!
📌 Note: You are fully responsible for choosing your winner and delivering the prize.
PRO TIP: Don’t overlook the reactions! Sometimes a “lurker” (someone who doesn’t comment but loves what they see) might be your biggest fan. Instead of relying solely on a random wheel spin, consider choosing a giveaway winner based on engagement, potential, or strategy—make a smart business decision that could lead to a long-term customer.
🛍️ Once the event wraps up, here’s what’s next: You’ll still have access to the group so follow up with customers and answer any questions. Keep engaging with folks who commented on your posts—you never know who might circle back to order!

🚫 We all learn as we go—but here are a few things to watch out for so you don’t miss your moment:
Not replying to comments (you’re leaving money and relationships on the table!)
Waiting until the last minute to write or schedule posts
Not sharing the event with your network (inviting 5+ people boosts group visibility!)
Skipping your giveaway or forgetting to announce the winner
Going live for too long or rambling without a plan—short and intentional is better!
📣 And remember: Engaging with your co-vendor boosts the group’s algorithm and your own reach.
✨ Want more eyes on your posts and better sales?
Here's what the most successful vendors do:
Prep your content ahead of time so you can focus on connection during your day.
Use engagement questions and encourage comments—conversation is currency!
Show up for others—comment on your co-vendor’s posts and support shoppers in the group.
15 meaningful comments per sales day.
Go live with a plan (show your face, tell your story, and feature 3–5 key items).
Share your link and invite your people!
Don’t wait for shoppers to find you—bring them in.
Remember: This is more than a post-and-run event—it’s social selling, and showing up with heart is the strategy. 💛
